About me
I am an Assistant Professor working at the Dep. Ecologia, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Madrid (Spain). I have broad interests in island biogeography, community ecology, ecosystem functioning and entomology.
I study the factors and processes causing community assembly on different regions, but recently I have focused my work on island arthropod faunas. Now I am working on a new project on the spatial variation in community structure of different taxa (arthropods, mammals, phytoplankton), looking at taxonomic, functional and phylogenetic diversity at different scales. I am also interested on studying the impact of climate change on ecosystem functioning.
